The City Government of Batac, in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Barangay Camandingan, formally inaugurated the newly constructed Camandingan Health Station ON MAY 2.
The project was funded through the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLG-IF), granted to the city after it passed the Seal of Good Local Governance in 2024. It commenced during the term of then Mayor, now Vice Mayor Albert D. Chua.
The health station is expected to improve the delivery of primary healthcare services, particularly for residents of Barangay Camandingan and nearby barangays, by bringing essential services closer and making them more accessible.
DILG Cluster Head Atty. Rodel Hilario, Vice Mayor Albert D. Chua and Mayor Markee R. Chua led the ceremony and delivered messages emphasizing the value of strong collaboration in advancing public health at the grassroots level.
Punong Barangay Noli Lacambga expressed his gratitude to the DILG and the City Government of Batac for the project, noting its significant impact on the health and well-being of their constituents.
