Residents of the City of Batac enjoyed fresh and quality produce during the “Pick and Pay” activity held on May 24 at the Techno Demo Farm of the Office of the City Agriculturist near the Bagsakan Area in Barangay Bil-loca.
Residents personally handpicked a variety of fresh vegetables from the farm. For only Php100 per person, residents were given a bag which they could fill with a variety of fresh produce.
Mayor Markee R. Chua expressed his delight over the strong support and positive response of residents to the activity, and shared that the city government looks forward to conducting similar activities in the future.
