As part of the City Government of Batac’s Environmental Protection, Flood Mitigation, and Disaster Preparedness Initiative, a simultaneous clean-up drive was conducted on May 27 along the Sta. Rosa Creek Waterway and other major waterways in the city.
The activity aimed to promote a cleaner and greener environment and raise community awareness on the importance of keeping waterways clear, especially as the rainy season approaches.
City officials and employees, barangay officials, and representatives from national government agencies joined together in clearing waste and debris along the waterways as part of the city’s continuing efforts to protect the environment.
