Coffee lovers and enthusiasts gathered this afternoon for the Kape Kultura Fusion, one of the activities of the 19th Charter Day Celebration of the City of Batac.
The competition highlighted the creativity of local coffee enthusiasts through unique coffee creations inspired by Batac’s local flavors, ingredients, and culture. More than just a beverage, coffee continues to bring people together and create meaningful connections within the community.
Aaron Gabrielle Gajeton emerged as the winner with his unique miki-infused coffee, showcasing a creative take on one of Batac’s well-loved miki.
Adding value to the activity, coffee expert Myk Hernando, owner and instructor of One Coffee Studio, shared insights and practical tips with the participants to help them further enhance their coffee craft. Recognized as one of the leading figures in the Ilocos Norte coffee scene, Hernando continues to promote specialty coffee, coffee education, and barista development in the province.
