CANCER AWARENESS, PREVENTION AND SCREENING LECTURE, CONDUCTED BY MMMH&MC TO BATAC BHWs

In an effort to strengthen the fight against cancer, the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center (MMMH&MC) Cancer Center conducted a lecture on Cancer Awareness, Prevention and Screening today, May 19.

The lecture which was held at the Imelda Cultural Center was dedicated to the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) to strengthen their role in reinforcing the health and welfare of the community.

Vice Mayor Windell D. Chua expressed profound gratitude to the MMMH&MC Cancer Center for extending this advocacy program to the city. He also emphasized the attendance of the BHWs as a testament to their commitment to fortify their roles as health advocates for the community.

The lecture was facilitated by the MMMH&MC Cancer Center led by their Project Manager, Dr. Mary Grace Kindipan, in coordination with the City Health Office.
