As a continuing support to the different programs and projects of the public schools in the City of Batac, the city government distributed various materials and equipment anew on January 11.
Thirty three schools were given one laptop each, planting materials with wheelbarrow and garden hose; three schools with printers; two schools received generator sets; one school with refrigerator; and one school with an air conditioning unit.
Mayor Albert D. Chua specifically highlighted the distribution of planting materials and equipment to every school to help sustain the Gulayan sa Paaralan Project, as it models good practices in food sustainability that can be replicated by teachers and students in their respective households.
