In a warm demonstration of hospitality, Mayor Albert D. Chua pleasantly welcomed Assistant Secretary Ana Carmela Ventura-Remigio of the Office of the Presidential Assistant for Northern Luzon during her courtesy visit in the City of Batac today, May 26.
This visit is part of an initiative from her office to foster a closer relationship with the northern regions. By undertaking visits and facilitating dialogues with different local government units (LGU) and government agencies across Regions 1, 2 and CAR, the office aims to identify opportunities where the national government could provide assistance for the specific programs and projects spearheaded by each LGU or agency.
During the dialogue, Mayor Chua expressed his unwavering support to Asec. Remigio. He also gave the assurance that the City of Batac, being the hometown of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., fully supports the programs and projects of his administration.
Together with Asec. Remigio during the visit were representatives of the Department of Public Works and Highways.
