Eager to see the Batac delegation excel and bring pride to the city, the Schools Division of the City of Batac (SDCB) and the City Government of Batac (CGB) organized a send-off ceremony on May 9 for the athletes participating in the Region 1 Athletic Association (R1AA) Meet.
The SDCB and CGB have been actively involved in the athletes’ training, offering their unwavering support. Schools Division Superintendent Anselmo Aludino has mandated close supervision of the athletes to ensure they are fully prepared for the upcoming competition.
In an effort to further assist the athletes, the City Government of Batac with the leadership of Mayor Albert D. Chua provides meal and transportation allowances for training, and the needed logistics for the actual event.
During the program, Vice Mayor Windell D. Chua conveyed the city government’s full support for the athletes and extended his best wishes for their success in the various sporting events.
The R1AA Meet is set to take place in San Carlos City, Pangasinan from May 14 to 19, 2023.
