In recognition of their outstanding performance in the recent Bar Examination and Civil Engineer Licensure Examination, the City Government of Batac awarded Resolutions of Commendation to Atty. Jether Kakilala Corpuz and Engr. Alexis Castillo Alegado, both graduates of Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU).
Atty. Jether Kakilala Corpuz ranked 12th out of 3,992 Bar Examination passers, earning a rating of 86.75% in the November 22 exam. Meanwhile, Engr. Alexis Castillo Alegado secured the top 1 spot among the 5,887 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination passers in April 2023, achieving a rating of 92.10%.
The City Government of Batac celebrates their exceptional accomplishments and acknowledges them as inspiring role models for fellow Ilocanos.
MMSU’s College of Law and College of Engineering were also awarded with Resolutions of Commendation for producing such distinguished passers. The resolutions were received by Dr. Prima Fe Franco, Vice President for Administration; Atty. Brian Jay Corpuz, Dean of the College of Law; and Dr. Edmund Edison Esteban, Dean of the College of Engineering.
The resolutions were presented by the Sangguniang Panlungsod, led by Vice Mayor Windell D. Chua, during their session held this afternoon, May 8.
