Mayor Albert D. Chua has earned a place among the region’s finest government workers, as declared by the Civil Service Commision in this year’s Search for Outstanding Government Workers- Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award (Regional Level).
The nomination comes in recognition of Mayor Chua’s extraordinary remarks in local governance, exceptional agricultural programs, and noteworthy social and health initiatives specially during the pandemic.
The mark of a truly great leader is not only in how they perform during times of prosperity but also during moments of adversity. When the world was brought to its knees by the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayor Chua swiftly pivoted Batac’s resources to safeguard its most vulnerable citizens.

Mayor Chua will receive a Plaque of Recognition in September 2023, during the Regional Recognition and Awards Rites as part of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, and automatically nominated as a contender for the national level.
