Batakkenak Batac, the highlight of the 16th Charter Anniversary celebration of the City of Batac, recently provided a platform for Batacqueño talents and artists to showcase their inherent skills and creative expressions.

Ranging across a diverse array of artistic activities, the initiative included dance and art workshops, photography contest, on-the-spot painting competition, table setting contest and exhibit in fashion and event styling, offering a rich cultural display that beautifully captures the creative spirit of the Batacqueños.

The young Batacqueños who have undergone the two-week empanada dance workshop gracefully displayed the empanada-making process through dance during the closing and awarding ceremony of the Batakennak Batac Contest and Exhibit on the evening of June 23.

Mayor Albert D. Chua expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the artists, participants and facilitators, underscoring that the city’s charter day celebration is a fitting occasion to honor the skills and artistry of his Batacqueños.

These activities were organized by the City Government of Batac through the Tourism and Events Section.
