Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to promoting family values and fostering strong relationships, the City Government of Batac remarkably hosted the CGB Mass Wedding 2023. This momentous event witnessed 40 couples celebrating matrimony on June 28 at the fully adorned Imelda Cultural Center.
As for most couples who do not have the means to host the celebratory event, this annual mass wedding sponsored by the city government is not only practical but also significantly valuable.
The joy painted on the newlyweds’ faces reflect the caring words of the solemnizing officer, Mayor Albert D. Chua.
Each of the 40 couples received the following from the city government: free wedding rings, bouquets and corsage, a wedding cake, wedding gift and a wedding portrait given immediately at the end of the ceremony. Aside from these, they also received wedding gifts from the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
The CGB Mass Wedding is conducted every June 28 of each year.
