CITY OF BATAC FIRE STATION RECEIVES NEW FIRE TRUCK

The City of Batac Fire Station received a brand new 1000-gallon capacity fire truck from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) on July 17.

Batac was among the 11 local government units in the province that received one new unit of fire truck each. This endeavor significantly raises the recipient LGU’s readiness to respond to emergency situations, ensuring the continued safety of their residents.

CINSP Arnel Ratuita, City Fire Marshal, and Mayor Albert D. Chua led the city’s delegation in receiving the fire truck. Mayor Chua lauded this as an instrumental step in furthering public safety, and expressed his gratitude to the BFP and our officials who pushed for this endeavor.

The turnover ceremony was held at the Ferdinand E Marcos Stadium in Laoag City with Cong. Ferdinand Alexander Marcos, who played a vital role for these fire trucks to be issued in the province, served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. Also in attendance were Cong. Angelo Marcos Barba, Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc, officials from BFP central and regional offices, provincial officials, and local chief executives from the beneficiary LGUs.

This new unit now becomes the fourth fire truck of the City of Batac Fire Station.
