BATAC FARMERS BENEFIT FROM DAR’S SUPPORT PROJECT

·

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has again demonstrated its commitment to agricultural development by benefiting three farmers’ associations and one multi-purpose cooperative in Batac City, through the Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Project.

Beneficiaries include the Quiling Sur Farmers Association, Tabug Farmers Association, and Camguidan Farmers Association, all of which received fertilizers and various farm equipment.

Furthermore, the Camguidan Multi-Purpose Cooperative, known for their production of Rice Krispies, has received a brand-new multi-purpose van. This vehicle will be instrumental in transporting their products efficiently, opening up opportunities for wider distribution and increased income.

The turnover ceremony was held on July 17 at Brgy. Catuguing, San Nicolas.

Mayor Albert D. Chua joined the recipients in the turnover ceremony, reinforcing the city’s commitment to supporting its farming communities.
