A delegation from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) led by Undersecretary for Regional Operations, Engr. Sancho Mabborang, paid a visit to the City of Batac on July 18.
The visiting delegation from DOST and Batac city officials led by Mayor Albert D. Chua engaged in fruitful discussions regarding the various programs of the DOST benefiting the city. The discussions mainly focused on the partnership between the DOST and City Government on building Batac as a Smart City under the DOST Smart City Project.
Mayor Chua together with the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and city government employees warmly welcomed the entire delegation and expressed enthusiasm for further collaborations with DOST.
