To show utmost respect to his incomparable contributions, the City Government of Batac led by City Mayor Engr. Albert D. Chua together with City Vice Mayor Atty. Windell D. Chua, Sangguniang Panlungsod members, DepEd Batac personnel headed by Division Superintendent Anselmo Aludino, personnel of the PNP Batac and BJMP Batac, Punong Barangays, members of the Independent Church of Filipino Christians – Aglipay Memorial Church, and the officials and residents of Barangay Aglipay, gather as one at the noble Gregorio Aglipay National Shrine, located at Barangay Aglipay to lay wreath flowers at his monument standing with great dignity in front of his mausoleum.
Amidst the rainy morning, the meaningful dedication for Aglipay’s undying influence and timeless legacies has been heartfully and warmly felt.
The commemoration echoed with much scintillated empowerment as Mayor Albert D. Chua stressed that it was not just about celebrating a person, but celebrating the spirit of Batac, leadership, resilience and unwavering faith.
