LAB FOR ALL ROLLS OUT IN ILOCOS NORTE

The LAB for All: Laboratoryo, Konsulta at Gamot Para sa Lahat, a mobile medical and laboratory project initiated by First Lady Marie Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos visits Ilocos Norte today, September 12 at the Ilocos Norte Centennial Arena, Laoag City.

The Ilocano community was very grateful to be benefitted from the goal towards actualizing an inclusive and accessible health and wellness advocacies. The said project aims to deliver free healthcare services primarily laboratory testing for various diseases, x-ray, medical check up and consultation, dental and eye check up, distribution of medicines and vitamins, among others.

The National Government encourages and amplifies a whole-of-nation approach, thus, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth), Department of Social Welfare and Development Office (DSWD) and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) were also present to provide social services for the beneficiaries, ensuring a one-stop-shop for all.

Joining the First Lady in the event are Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc, Vice Governor Cecilia Araneta-Marcos, Department of Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa, Congressman Angelo Marcos Barba, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members, municipal and city mayors, members of Local Government Units, and different heads of national agencies and private sectors.

Mayor Albert D. Chua showed his full support to the medical and laboratory project as it waves his constituents from the burden of medical fees.
