To further strengthen the healthcare support for the residents of Batac, Mayor Albert D. Chua personally turned over a Php 1,000,000.00 check to the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical center today, January 5. This marks the continuity of the Medical Trust Fund of the City Government at MMMH&MC.
For the year 2023, the medical trust fund has benefited 871 residents. This fund covers hospital bills, medicines and diagnostic procedures for both out-patient and in-patient residents of the city at the MMMH&MC.
The check was received by Ms. Vaness Rosete, Administrative Officer I, and Ms. Marineth Cabading, Social Worker Officer III, representing MMMH&MC. Also witnessing the turnover were Hon. Markee Chua, Mr Vanny Gamet – Acting City Treasurer, Ms. Marnelli Sabas – Acting City Social Welfare Officer, Ms. Loivee Mallari – Medical Trust Fund Focal person and Ms. Lorlyn Flordeliz Ulit – GAD Focal Person.
The city government reaffirms its pledge to continue such impactful initiatives, ensuring a brighter and healthier future for all its constituents.
