The Manayon a Tulong Pasada program of the Metro Ilocos Norte Council (MINC) of the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte rolled out in the City of Batac on January 23.
More than 3000 tricycle drivers and operators of the city received Php3,000.00, with long sleeves shirts and bucket hats. This program aims at providing assistance to the tricycle drivers and operators on the ongoing challenges faced by the local transport sector such as oil price increases.
Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc and Mayor Albert D. Chua together with other provincial and city officials led the distribution held at the Imelda Cultural Center.
The Metro Ilocos Norte Council led by Atty. Nikki Pilar facilitated the distribution.
