Testament to the city government’s love and dedication to farmers, Mayor Albert D. Chua led the start of the distribution of 1000 diesel fed engine water pumps and irrigation hoses from the City Government of Batac to farmers at Barangay 17, Tabug Community Center on February 14, Valentine’s Day.
During the distribution, Mayor Chua reiterated the city government’s commitment to supporting the agricultural sector of the city. Sangguniang Panlungsod member Markee Chua also spoke, assuring the farmers of continuous projects dedicated to modernizing local farming.
Other Sangguniang Panlungsod members also attended said event.
Facilitated by the Office of the City Agriculturist, the distribution continues today until February 23.
