Celebrating Rabies Awareness Month, the City Government of Batac, led by Mayor Albert D. Chua, is offering free rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats at the Imelda Cultural Center today until March 3, Sunday.
Acknowledging that rabies is a fatal but preventable disease, the city is committed to conducting activities preventative to it. Through vaccinations, the city aims to make sure that pets are protected from contraction of the virus, diminishing the possibility of them passing it to people and the community.
Facilitated by the Office of the City Veterinarian, the vaccination drive is also administering multivitamin injections for pets.
