The City Government of Batac, under the leadership of Mayor Albert D. Chua marked the commencement of construction of the Peanut Processing Center in Barangay Quiling Norte. Held on March 26, the groundbreaking ceremony promises to improve and expand peanut processing in the area.
Barangay Quiling Norte is known for its one-barangay-one-product initiative featuring processed peanut products. The Peanut Processing Center will not only streamline the processing of peanut products but also optimize operations and overall productivity.It will also ensure hygienic standards and provide a centralized location for their existing equipment.
Mayor Chua emphasized the center’s importance in standardizing peanut processing, ultimately boosting marketability of local peanut products.
Vice Mayor Windell D. Chua together with the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members were present to demonstrate their support during the ceremony.
