The City Government of Batac, led by Mayor Engr. Albert D. Chua received a check amounting to One Million Four Pesos (P1,000,004.00) from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for the funding of the Broiler Production Project.
This grant is given to the City of Batac through the office of Sen. Loren Legarda and facilitated by Cong. Angelo Marcos Barba, to help provide a sustainable source of income to our constituents. It has 39 beneficiaries from Barangays Camguidan and Capacuan.
Aside from the funding given by DOLE, they will also provide orientation, and technical assistance to the beneficiaries to ensure that concerns relative to the project are addressed properly.
DOLE was represented by Ms. Honorina Dian-Baga, Assistant Regional Director and Ms. Janelyn Martin, OIC – Field Office Head, for the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) during the turn-over.
Cong. Barba personally witnessed the simple ceremony together with the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members, Mr. Vanny Gamet, Acting City Treasurer, Mr. Marlon Soria, City Human Resources Officer, and Punong Barangays Romiefel Gabay and Randy Agunat.
