The City Government of Batac sponsored a heartwarming event as seventeen (17) couples united in matrimony in a beautiful mass wedding ceremony. The event was officiated by the City Mayor, Engr. Albert D. Chua.
Each couple received cakes, rings, bouquets, corsages, and souvenir pictures, making it a day to remember for all involved.
This annual mass wedding, held every June 28th, was institutionalized through Municipal Ordinance No. 5, series of 1998.
