To demonstrate the city’s commitment to supporting and encouraging athletic excellence, the City Government of Batac, headed by Mayor Albert D. Chua presented cash incentives to athletes who garnered medals during the Region 1 Athletic Association Meet.
Forty-seven athletes were recognized for their exceptional performance during the R1AA Meet. Aside from the cash incentive, they also received a Resolution of Commendation from the Sangguniang Panlungsod headed by Vice Mayor Windell D. Chua.
The amount of incentive received by each athlete corresponds to the medal they garnered, following the guidelines set forth in Ordinance No. 4SP 2018-03.
