To enhance educational support for students in reaching their academic goals, the City Government of Batac has raised the stipends for city scholars in Junior and Senior High Schools by a significant amount of Php 2,000.00.
On August 8, the City Government of Batac distributed stipends to 880 Junior and Senior High School students. Junior High School scholars received Php 7,000.00 each, while Senior High School scholars received Php 9,000.00 each for the school year.
Likewise, the city college scholars will get a Php500.00 increase in their monthly stipend.
The City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Albert D. Chua and the Sangguniang Panlungsod headed by Vice Mayor Windell D. Chua, has increased the stipend to further ease the financial burdens on parents, while empowering students to pursue and complete their education.
