The City Government of Batac, under the leadership of Mayor Albert D. Chua, awarded stipends to 441 new city scholars at the high school level on September 4.
The distribution included stipends for 301 Grade 7 scholars, 91 Grade 11 scholars, and 49 Grade 12 scholars.
This year, the stipend amounts have been increased, with each Grade 7 scholar receiving ₱7,000 and Senior High School scholars receiving ₱9,000 for the school year.
The increase in stipends underscores the City’s strong commitment to supporting education and the academic success of its youth.
