Mayor Albert D. Chua welcomed the Region 1 Athletic Association (R1AA) medalists on March 20, congratulating them on their outstanding performance in the recently concluded R1AA Meet.
The Mayor commended the medalists for their perseverance, dedication, and for serving as role models to their fellow students and aspiring athletes.
As a token of appreciation and motivation, each medalist will receive a cash incentive from the city government.
This gesture aims to encourage and support the medalists in their future endeavors, inspiring them to continue striving for excellence in their respective sports.
