Mayor Albert D. Chua administered today, March 20, the oath of office of the newly-appointed department heads of the City Government of Batac, Dr. Ramonito A. Baltazar as City Veterinarian and Mark Allan L. Abad as City Agriculturist.
Dr. Baltazar is a new entrant in government service as he has been practicing his profession independently. Nonetheless, he has committed himself to contribute in the fulfillment of the development goals of the city government.
Mr. Abad on the other hand has been the officer-in-charge of the Office of the City Agriculturist for more than three years prior to his promotion as City Agriculturist.
Along with the two new department heads, 20 newly-appointed and promoted personnel also took their oath office during today’s flag raising ceremony. This consists of seven managerial and supervisory positions, 10 level two positions and 12 level one positions.
As the City Mayor and administering officer of their oath of office, Engr. Albert D. Chua expressed his high hopes that these newly-appointed and promoted employees will carry out their sworn duties effectively and efficiently.
The newly-hired job order personnel of the city government were also presented during the ceremony.
