Launching of Renewable Energy Executive Competency Training Program (REESCTP)

Mayor Albert D. Chua graced the launching of the Renewable Energy Executive Competency Training Program (REESCTP) hosted by the Mariano Marcos State University held today, May 22.

EESCTP is an 8-week comprehensive training program that employs a blended learning approach to strengthen the capabilities of Local Government Units (LGUs) in launching and managing renewable energy projects in their communities. This forward-thinking program is a component of the Development for Renewable Energy Applications Mainstreaming and Market Sustainability (DREAMS) Project of the Department of Energy.

In his message, Mayor Chua emphasized the relevance of the training program in our quest to promote renewable energy practices within the city. He also expressed his gratitude towards the Mariano Marcos State University for extending this program to the LGUs.

Representing the city government in this training program are Engr. Gerald John Sagadraca, Engr. Michelle Manuel and Engr. Michael John Tadifa.
