The City of Batac celebrated the 126th Philippine Independence Day with a solemn flag-raising ceremony led by Mayor Albert D. Chua and the Sangguniang Panlungsod headed by Vice Mayor Windell D. Chua. It was attended by city government employees, heads and representatives of national government agencies and organizations in the city, and Punong Barangays.
During the ceremony, Mayor Albert D. Chua emphasized the continued relevance of our fight for freedom in contemporary times. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the “heroes of today” who work tirelessly to combat crime, poverty, and inequality.
The celebration underscored the city’s commitment to preserving the values of independence and democracy, ensuring that the sacrifices of past heroes continue to inspire collective efforts toward a brighter, more equitable future for all.
