The City Government of Batac, under the leadership of City Mayor Hon. Albert D. Chua, recently provided financial assistance to 237 recipients through the Assistance in Crisis Situation (AICS) Program and the City Social Fund. These were handed in to the beneficiaries on September 9 and 12.
Different types of assistance were granted to the beneficiaries, including burial assistance, medical assistance, and educational assistance. The amount of cash received by each recipient varied based on the type of assistance they qualified for.
This initiative aimed to relieve the financial burdens of those in crisis situations, and a part of the city’s continuous efforts to support its residents during times.
