In a continued effort to strengthen healthcare support for Batac residents, Mayor Albert D. Chua personally turned over a Php 1,000,000.00 check to the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center (MMMH&MC) on October 7. This turnover marks the ongoing commitment of the City Government to its Medical Trust Fund at the hospital.
Launched in 2020, the Medical Trust Fund has now benefitted thousands of Batacqueños. The fund aims to assist in covering hospital bills, medicines, and diagnostic procedures for both out-patient and in-patient residents of the city receiving care at MMMH&MC.
Receiving the check on behalf of the hospital were Dr. Jose B. Orosa III, Officer-in-Charge of MMMH&MC, and Mrs. Evangeline Cid, Head of the Medical Social Service.
