To strengthen the recovery efforts following recent natural disasters, the City Government of Batac, headed by City Mayor Albert D. Chua, distributed financial assistance to farmers affected by Typhoons Julian, Kristine, and Marce on January 22-23.
A total of 3,249 farmers/livestock raisers received Php1000 each. This grant from the City government aims to help the farmers relieve the losses they suffered after the impact of three consecutive typhoons in the City.
