The City Government of Batac, in partnership with the Schools Division of the City of Batac, hosted a warm Welcome Program on May 22 for the delegation of Region IV-A CALABARZON and technical officials billeted in the city for the Palarong Pambansa 2025.
Held as part of Ilocos Norte’s province-wide hosting of this year’s Palaro, the program featured cultural performances that showcased the local heritage and talent of Batac. Guests were also treated to a taste of the city’s well-loved culinary specialties, including Batac empanada, sitsaron, igado, and pinakbet.
Mayor Albert D. Chua, together with the entire city government, and Schools Division Superintendent Anselmo Aludino, alongside division personnel, personally welcomed the athletes, coaches, and officials.
