The City Government of Batac has once again demonstrated its commitment to its handicapped constituents by providing free prosthetic legs to two beneficiaries on April 24. The program aims to help those with physical disabilities live a more fulfilling life.
Zsarina Saymo and Redenson Saymo, both from Barangay Maipalig, were the beneficiaries of the program. Zsarina was born with a physical disability while Redenson lost a leg due to a vehicular accident. The free prosthetic legs will greatly improve their mobility and enable them to manage their daily activities more efficiently.
At the turnover held at the Batac City Hall, Mayor Albert D. Chua expressed his hope that this intervention will significantly improve the beneficiaries’ quality of life. He also said that the City Government of Batac is committed to providing support to all its citizens and believes that every individual should have access to the assistance they need to live a fulfilling life.
